Topper Tent Mid-Size for Soft Tops V2*

Please be hesitant when purchasing this product. Product was purchased and never arrived. I reached out to the company and asked for an explanation and update and received no reply. I believe this company may be a scam and I advise you save yourself the time, trouble and your money and refrain from buying from this company. Product will not arrive; emails and updates will not be sent, and you will be out $300 or so.

Took it out on the first camping trip and am very pleased with how it functioned.

Communication is a little lacking with Topper Tent. Even though the one I ordered shows as in stock, still took almost a month to ship. In the end, Topper Tent did step up and get it shipped before our trip that was already planned.

Velcro design that secures the top seam doesn’t seem adequate and loosens easily. Customer service was unresponsive dealing with shipping issues and was met with multiple false promises once I was able to reach someone.

Lead time for product build was slow, but shipping was reasonably quick. Customer service responded quickly and professionally. Overall pretty satisfied with the Topper Tent although the velcro at the bottom of the door is quite difficult to close from the inside of the tent. I will likely use some magnets to try and keep the door shut from the inside. Screen door is also difficult to use separately from the inside due to integrated zippers. Side zippers that connect to the Softopper are tricky to zip into place. I ended up building a simple wooden frame to attach the tent to using velcro rather than directly to the Softopper. Works MUCH better than designed use.

Overall, good design but several simple improvements would make for a much better product.
